I'm Stephanie Ray.
I guess I should start by telling you a little about myself. I am a 36 year old photographer living the DREAM in Dallas, TX! I was married last fall to the love of my life, Brad Ray. Up until a couple of months ago, My name was Stephanie Brown and I operated under the name Stephanie Brown Photography. Brad teaches high school art while I photograph weddings and portraits. I also run a photo booth business called The Photo Van (which you should seriously check out- www.thephotovan.net) Brad and I have 3 cats ( Herman, Kitty Cash, and Marley) and we live in Far East Dallas. We love hanging out with our friends and family and enjoy spending time in Northern Michigan with my parents, at their lake-side cabin in the summers.
-Our engagement story was featured recently on D magazine's blog:

When I am not working on my photography I enjoy working out, cooking for my husband, netflix and chilling with a cat in my lap, and cracking jokes with my friends and family. I am always looking for ways to help my community and love the city of Dallas and our Little neighborhood of Casa View. I recently founded a networking group to help local creative types in Casa View to come together. We lived in Deep Ellum for years and still consider the neighborhood home to the Photo Van as well as shooting 90% of my portrait sessions in that area.
We will be Deep Ellum for LIFE!
I should probably add that I am absolutely obsessed with photography!
My passion for the art of photography goes far beyond what I have accomplished thus far. I plan on producing quality photographic work for years to come and hope to evolve at a rapid rate towards my goals. My dream is to own a studio and provide an affordable atmosphere for up and coming photographers to learn while also providing affordable photographic services to the local community. In addition to my goals for my photography business, I hope to expand my Photo Van business and build an entire fleet of awesome van-themed righteousness. I may be a few years off from my dreams being realized but at this rate, it won't be long til I am approaching that finish line! Until then, I am happy to continue to work out of my home office and deliver the best possible images and customer service to my clients. Thanks for looking around the site, I hope you enjoyed viewing my work. I most certainly enjoyed creating it for you!
