Sarah and Jon are some of our awesome neighbors from our time living in Deep Ellum. They are such a great couple and I was thrilled when they reached out to me about photographing their upcoming wedding! We definitely knew that Deep Ellum would be a great location for their engagement portrait session. They have lived there for several years and wanted to incorporate their favorite hang-out spots in the session as well. We started over at my favorite spot, Central Square Park, and continued into Deep Ellum, ending our session on the roof-top patio of the Green Room. They both have such fun personalities and I really wanted to capture that in our session, while also making them look fabulous! I think we accomplished that goal! I am looking forward to capturing their wedding this summer. Leave your thoughts on this cute engagement sessions in the comments below...
Ben-Aharon Family Portraits
I love it when I get to work with my friends to capture their family portraits! Amy has been my best friend for going on 18 years! Her beautiful family is always so much fun to photograph. I have done several sessions with them through the years. This session turned out better than I could have imagined and I am so happy that I was able to capture the spirit of their fun family. This portrait session was done at one of my favorite Dallas locations, Central Square Park. We did this Family Portrait session in preparation of Elliana's Bat-Mitzvah. They wanted an updated portrait of the entire family as well as celebrating Elli's journey to her Bat-Mitzvah with some portraits of her with her parents. Elli's little brother, Asher, sure did steal the show with his goofy antics. He is so funny! I am glad I got to capture his awesome personality. Overall, I think this may be my all-time favorite portrait session, but I am a little biased since it's a family that I hold so near and dear to my heart. What do you think of this gorgeous family?
